About Ser Artsakh Baby Gift Box Program

Ser Artsakh launched on June 1, 2022 as a charitable initiative by the Anna Astvatsaturian Foundation, designed to benefit the Artsakhtsi families who decided to return and grow in Artsakh after the 44-day war, despite the socio-economic and security concerns that existed in the region.   Unlike other programs, Ser Artsakh focused entirely on nurturing future Artsakhtsis and their potential, while preserving the Armenian identity and way of life in Artsakh.  With the generous support of our donors, all necessary baby-care supplies were hand-delivered to every baby born in Artsakh in a packaged gift box upon discharge from the hospital.  Even during the blockade, we delivered vital baby and mother medical and hygiene supplies across all obstacles with the help of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Now that the Artsakhtis are forcibly displaced we made a decision to continue the initiative of helping Artsakhtis who are born in Armenia, until their families are firmly settled in Armenia.

Three Pillars of Our Mission

Supporting Artsakh Families: Post war, the birth rate in Artsakh increased and we began our initiative. With the generous help of our donors, every new born child in Artsakh received essential baby care supplies, alleviating some of the stress of associated with providing for a new addition to the family. The Ser Artsakh Baby Gift Box was be gifted to every mother before leaving the hospital in Artsakh. Now after Arstakh mass atrocity and ethnic cleansing we continue to support Artsakh families who are living in Armenia during this difficult time for them.  We provide these vital boxes to Artsakhtsis who were ethnically cleansed in September of 2023 and who are living in Armenia.

Supporting Armenia’s and Artsakh’s economy: All of the products in the  Ser Artsakh Baby Gift Box are made or purchased in Armenia. Plus, 100% of the donation you make to this initiative goes toward the purchase and delivery of these beautiful baby boxes. The more donations made, the more we can help Homeland’s economy together!

Prioritizing the well-being of Artsakh families in the hearts and minds of the Armenian Diaspora around the world: The Ser Artsakh Baby Gift Box was designed to honor the courageous families of Artsakh who chose to stay in Artsakh after the 44-day war. Now, after the ethnic cleansing in Artsakh, the gift is truly a humanitarian necessity and is bringing about awareness to our Diaspora regarding the continued plight of the people of Artsakh. The more we work together, the more we can turn our care into action and support the families of Artsakh who are struggling to build their lives.

Theopharma Imports. LLC is one of the largest pharmaceuticals and health care product distributors in Armenia. It has both wholesale and retail sides of the business.  The retail side of the company is conducted through 60 pharmacies belonging to the company.
